MENTAL DEMISE (BRUTAL DEATH, UKRAINE) MENTAL DEMISE was founded by Fester (guitar/vocals) in May 1995. In 1997 the band releases their first demo, called "Utopia of Existence". The line-up was the following: Fester (guitar/vocals), Tom Grinder (drums) & Toukan (bass). In July 1997 Old (vocals) joined the band and the work on their new material had begun. Their second demo "Psycho-Penetration" was recorded in February 1998. It contained 9 songs of intense yet brutal death/grind with conceptual psychological lyrics. This stuff was out on Moon Records in MC format. In March 1998 second guitarist Pinky completed the band's line-up and in support of their "Psycho-Penetration" material MENTAL DEMISE played about 25 gigs in different places of East Ukraine. In Spring 2000 MENTAL DEMISE entered "Vaginal Suckers" studio to record their new three-track promo material, called "Credo Quia Absurdum..?". During the studio sessions Toukan quitted the band and was right away replaced by S. Vitkovsky with whom they finished the recordings of "Credo Quia Absurdum..?". In 2001 D.A.C. Productions releases "Credo Quia Absurdum..?" on a split CD with ENTRAILS PUTREFACTION. It followed a mini-tour in Belarus (November 2001) together with Polish Death Metal masters HATE. After a little while the band found their new bass player in the embodiment of Baltus Hash. With this line-up MENTAL DEMISE played series of gigs and finished 2000 year with a common action with Polish monsters of Death/Grind - DAMNABLE. In April 2003 MENTAL DEMISE took place in Polish tour called "Grind de Pologne-2", where the band played with such brutal metal bands as IMPERIAL FOETICIDE, EPITOME, DECAPITATED, DEFORMED, MASTECTOMIA, PATOLOGICUM and ANAL STENCH. www.mentaldemise.com MOONFOG (BRUTAL DEATH, PB) It was one deep december night in 2000, when thick fog was crawling down the walley of river Vah ,but it was not the only fact. In town Povazska Bystrica was established new underground metal band in that dark night. It holds name Moonfog. Original members - guitarist Peter Hutyra, drummer Rudy and bassguitarist Marek. Singer Peter joined the band in summer 2003. In beginning of existence the most influences came to the band from Thrash and Black Metal bands,later from Death Metal. The band have many officially unreleased materials on CD ,Their list you can find on the website. First regular demo CD 'Awaken by the death' was self-released in 2004, soon followed by promo material 'Bloody memories' which was distributed on shows (for free) in 2004 and 2005 in about 600 pieces. Several interwiews and rewiews was published in czech and slovak metal zines.
